Here for your consideration is a nice vintage mother of pearl shell palm tree brooch. It measures 1 3/4 x 1". The clasp does not have a locking mechanism and I am not sure if it is made that way or missing it. It is functional as is and the pin holds well under the clasp. It is in good wearable vintage condition.
