30s/40s Beacon Style Blanket Robe Art Deco Floral Stripe$140.00
Vintage robes made from ombre blanket cloth are increasingly sought after for their cozy warmth and for the wonderful woven patterns often used. This is a particularly nice one, probably late 1930s to early 1940s, based on the art deco influenced pattern. The robe is styled with notched lapels and effective use of a coordinating border print at the cuffs and robe bottom. Pieced striping is also used to accent the top of the patch handwarmer pocket.
SIZE: No size label. The robe was measured laying flat. Given the wrap nature of the front, there is some flexibility of fit.
