this piece is in overall excellent condition.

the red leather has absorbed a patina including dirt from being handled over time, it does need the attention and cleaning of a professional cobbler or someone who works with the chemical solvents used to refresh leather. the leather other than the darkened "dirty" patina is in excellent condition, nice and soft, very supple and very nice well maintained/moisturized. you might like to consider just having the bag re-colored for about $30 at your local cobbler, either red to cover the dirty marks or maybe even to black to swanken up and create an entirely new bag look!
