I just love vintage Aladdin teapots! This one is black with gold trim and holds 6 cups. It was made by Hall Pottery, which produced Aladdin teapots in the 1940s.

It is about 10 ¼” from the handle to spout, 5” wide, and 7” from the bottom to top of the handle.

This teapot has a chip about ¼” long on its spout—see pic. The gold is worn in many places, most noticeably on the handle. One area on the handle is worn off to the point that it shows white. See pics showing examples of the gold wear. There are some very small scratches here and there. There are some bumps and discolorations that would have occurred during the production process. There’s also a little divot in the gold border in the top opening but that also would have happened in production. Other than that, the teapot is clean and in great functional shape.
