This beautiful dress was made by Amy’s Place in the late 70s to early 80s. It is reminiscent of styling that was seen in the 40s. The fabric is semi sheer, has a black and cream geometric circular print, puffed shoulders with light cotton padding, and long sleeves that taper and narrow on the way down to the cuffs. One side of the bust and bodice crosses over the other, there is light thin elastic inside at the waist, the skirt has fabric that points out in the hip area creating awesome hip swag, and the center of the front and back of the skirt has a 13” split style hem. An Amy’s Place label is also inside. No fabric content label. Feels like a nylon or polyester chiffon blend. May have once had belt.
