Here for your consideration is a nice little scarab beetle and silver pill. trinket box. It is hallmarked with the maker and 800. The hallmarks and numbers are in Arabic so I would assume this probably came back with someone on a vacation to Egypt. I did test this and it does test for silver. The top is pottery with lots of little scarab beetles. There is a tiny nick in the pottery on the edge. It can be seen in my photos. The silver is left unpolished. It measures 1 3/4" in diameter. This is in good displayable vintage condition.
