This amazing space-age dress from the 1970's is a collector's dream.
It has so many layers to it, where do I begin. I'll start with the design and the fit.
The dress was designed by Mr Boots and purchased from an exclusive dress store called Charlstons Preview Shop in the 1970's.
It's been stored beautifully and maintains it's original condition.
The fabric is a jersey knit and it has a perfect weight to it. Flattering fit for sure!
The dress has a wonderful empire waist with a spectacular silver Naugahyde mod centerpiece.
With perfect draping the dress falls into a waterfall hem with the back of the dress to the ankle.
I am telling you this dress has so many possibilities it's endless what you can be!
Marked a size 11, the measurement indicate it runs a bit small.
The dress zips all the way up the back so you step right in. From shoulder to shoulder it measures 15½"
From armpit to armpit it's 18" and should fit a 40"-42" bust-line
The waist measures 28" and has min stretch, hips measure up to 44", length is 48" from the armpit
