Vintage 1970s (estimated) Italian Made Rattan Crossbody Bag with Braided Rope

Semi structured, hard sided woven rattan straw body
Lined in natural canvas
Natural canvas webbing trim
Braided rope crossbody strap
Gold tone hardware
Flap and turnlock closure
Footed base
Interior pocket with nylon riri zipper
Made in Italy

Nice vintage condition. Minor areas of glue discoloration to the rattan at turn-lock (see pics). Dirt shows at one area at the trim at base (see pics). Rattan is solid, no breaks. Hardware shows normal wear and some minor loss of gold tone.

Overall this is a really nicely made bag with a fantastic vintage charm! When I picked this up, the crossbody strap was knotted to adjust the strap drop. It is still a little wavy at rest, but straightens right out when carried. It does look cute when knotted too!
