🌺 Vintage 70s Hawaiian Royal Creations Floral Hibiscus Hawaii Aloha Novelty Print Pake Muu 🌺

The word pake means “Hawaiian” in Chinese, and muu muus are loose fitting Hawaiian gowns. It is said that the name pake muu came from a combination of the long pointed wing like sleeves which were first seen in Chinese design, and the traditional draped style of the Hawaiian draped muu muu.

This pake muu is pink and white, has hibiscus flowers, palm tree fronds or leaves, and the words aloha and Hawaii printed in cursive throughout.

The neckline is V shaped, there is banding below that covers just the front of the waist area, and there is a same fabric belt attached inside that ties around the inside of the back. This creates the long pointed wing sleeve design as described and shown, along with a flat fitted front in the area where the waist is tied. which is followed by a loosely draped bottom, and completely unbelted loose back. Inside is a Royal Creations label which states one size fits all, has care instructions, polyester, and made in Hawaii.

Fabric feels lightweight and Pake Muu is flaw free. Please use measurements to ensure desired fit - 54” long, 19” shoulder to shoulder, 11.5” sleeve length, 38” across bottom of sleeves. Double this for bust, waist, and hip estimate.
