Designed by the iconic African American designer James Daugherty in the mid 1970s.
James Daugherty's early career began at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. The legendary costume designer Edith Head gave him his first job as a sketch artist on the films "The Ten Commandments", "The King and I" and "Funny Girl". Daugherty also worked on many of the costumes for "I Love Lucy". After working for Edith Head, Daugherty moved to New York and began designing for Maurie Rentner, Pat Sandler, Bill Blass, Anne Klein and James Galanos. All measurements are taken when the garment is flat.
I suggest that you find a similar garment in your wardrobe that fits you well, measure it when flat, and compare the numbers to be sure you're getting the best fit for you.
If I've listed an approximate size, it's only an ESTIMATE, and measurements are far more precise.
The measurements are that of the garment and please allow room for fit & MOVEMENT.
