Vintage 70’s Open Back Halter Top$175.00
This halter top was made in the 1970s; the fabric and details drawn inspiration from the "cheongsam" dress, which was popularized in Shanghai in the 1920s and has been referenced by western designers ever since. This top features a high halter neck in a black and gold brocade fabric. It ties in the back and is totally open, and can also be layered over top of other pieces, or worn as a dickie under a jacket. I love the keyhole detail at the front with the frog knot closure. The tie back makes the fit adjustable, and it can fit a range of sizes.
Measurements: will best fit a modern size XS-S or M but please refer to below measurements
Length: 23.25" from front collar to hem
Waist: 22.25" wide laid flat, not including string ties at back
Great vintage condition.
