Vintage 1960s super plush jet black cotton velvet dress by Lanz. I love the way the rounded neckline stands out from the bodice just a bit. Trimmed in black corded braid with two bows on the shoulders. Short dolman sleeves. Waist darts and fitted waist. Skirt is gored and slightly full. The hem is also trimmed in the braid. Closes with covered buttons all the way up the back. Please note, from looking at the inside of this dress it appears that the waist was taken up about 2", but the dress was not cut, only seamed, so it should be easy to let back down again if necessary.
