Vintage 60s Hooded Cloak Cape
Incredible Vintage 1960’s hooded cloak/cape from the Western region of Morocco, referred to as Akhnif. Commonly worn by Berber Shepard’s. The red eye on the back is to ward off evil, the lizard and it’s tongue are to pierce evil and the allover woven patterns depict talismanic tattoos. Completely handwoven work of art and incredibly warm. These may belong in a museumbut for now are for sale.
