Vintage 1960s black velvet opera coat lined in black satin. Fastens with gold tone buttons with an extra decorative row. One inside button.
Mandarin collar. Pleated shoulder.
Faux front pocket flaps with open side pockets.
Based on the Union Labels this coat dates to 1964.
Excellent vintage condition. Free from rips , stains and holes. Minimal wear.
There are 3 small discoloration spots I noticed. Two in the front and one in the back strap. Detailed in photos.
No maker or size tag. Fits most like a size small. Pictured on a size small. Could work for a medium depending on the fit you like. Please use measurements provided to decide if the fit works for you. Laid flat and measured fully buttoned. Compare measurements with a similar garment you already like the fit of to help ensure a good fit.
