This is a great vintage early 1960s little black dress. The dress is made of black crinkle chiffon and the hem is done in black taffeta. The top has an illusion neckline, it is sleeveless, and has a keyhole back with button closure. The bodice is fitted and the skirt flares out at the waist and has a little bow that adorns it on the left side were the skirt splits for an illusion wrap style. The bottom of the skirt is edged in the taffeta. The skirt is full with that early 60s cupcake silhouette. The whole dress is lined in acetate and the skirt has its own built-in crinoline under the acetate so it is 4 layers total. The dress label reads Elinor Gay original.
Condition:
The dress is in great condition with no noted flaws. It has been professionally cleaned and is ready to wear.
