Labeled the “fabulous fabulous”, this is an Einiger Wool coat, one of the 1960s top luxury brands.
A fabulous royal blue 100% virgin wool ladies early 1960s coat by Einiger. Satin lined. Large Mod buttons. Buttons down the front and there is a smaller button under the collar. Two pockets. ILGWU label.
In beautiful condition. The wool has a wonderful intentional nubby texture to it but is soft. Great topper for your vintage outfits over the winter. The liner has some color fade in places. Measurements are:

Every woman had at least one warm winter coat, usually made of wool or a new synthetic that looked like felted wool. The 1960s long coat lacked a waistline, instead flaring out only slightly into an A-line shape. As women’s dress hems inched upwards, so did women’s coats. Most coats were at or above the knee. Freezing legs was a sacrifice they had to make.
