Set of two matching vintage 1950's era. I believe they may be glass pearls as this Wikepedia defines: Glass pearl: glass bead dipped or sprayed with pearlescent material, or hollow glass bead filled with pearlescent material. A variation is called Majorcan pearl.

One bead has a chip and it appears there is clear glass underneath. Color is chalk white pearl. Just barely not pure white. This listing is for the matching pair. Very nice weight to them. Elegant and chic!!
