Vintage 1950's Carmen Miranda Novelty Print Cotton Fit and Flare Two Piece Dress Set!

Amazing novelty print of little Carmen Mirandas with the fruit basket on the head and frilly cha cha skirt! The print almost looks 1940's; it could be late 1940's or early 1950's. Or perhaps a 1950's piece made of 1940's fabric.

Blouse features:

- V neckline and back
- draped wrap-style bodice with pleats on one side of the nipped waist
- side metal zipper closure

Skirt features:

- very full silhouette
- back metal zipper closure with 2 hooks and eyes at waistband

Very good vintage condition. Structurally sound and very wearable. There is some wear around the edges. Along the shoulders, like from being on the hanger; got a bit of dust and/or fading. Very light underarm discoloration. These are insignificant and mentioned for accuracy. I believe some of the discoloration around the edges would come out with a good soak in Retro Clean; I will leave this up to the new owners as I am looking for a quick sale. Priced as-is.
