Here is a harder to find 1950’s blue Lurex

Hard to photograph for me;
This blue lurex set is very sparkly and stunning in person.

Measurements:

TOP:
41” chest;
17” shoulder to shoulder;
16. 5” long 3/4 sleeve with gathered buttoned bracelet cuff;
40” bottom hem;
21” long from back center neck seam.
Bodice is fully lined in black acetate.

SKIRT:
35” waist with the very amateur expansion in mauve satin;
41” hip;
Back metal zipper;
27” long;
41” hem;
2” hem allowance.
Fully lined in black acetate.

This set is in excellent condition with the only flaw being the amateur aesthetics of the waistband alteration, but may actually serve as a favorable utilitarian benefit, as the waists of this era are often so tight. I’d wear a belt over it.
