This is a stunning party dress in Ink Black velvet and taffeta. The dress is strapless with a sweetheart neckline, the tips of the bust are covered in the velvet that wraps around to the back. The top of the dress is fitted to the waist with princess seams and the waist is trimmed in velvet ribbon with little bows. The skirt of the dress is a full circle with most of the volume in the back and smoother lines in the front. The front of the skirt has wonderful large velvet ribbon Chrysanthemums, the edges are tipped with little hard iridescent pieces. The back of this dress is show-stopping! The velvet that wrapped around the back from the bust crosses in the back and flows into the skirt and becomes a wonderful velvety swath that is sooooo full and gives the skirt so much volume. The dress has a side metal zipper and has a waist belt on the inside. The bodice is fully lined and is also fully boned so it will stay up. The skirt hem is also stiffened with tarlatan to help keeps its shape.
