This absolutely stunning dress is covered in hand-beaded lace adorned with glass seed beads, iridescent sequins, and miniature pearls. The lining of the dress is a lovely teal crepe giving the dress a beautiful color. The dress is 50's and was hand made in the British colony of Hong Kong. This is the only tag on the dress. There is about an inch of seam allowance that can be let out for sizing and there is a three-inch hem that can be let out for needed length. The dress has a hidden back zipper with two hook and eye closures; one at the top of the back and one at the waist. The back of the dress has lovely scalloped lace that forms a v. The dress has cap sleeves and a boat neck. This dress is fitted to the body and has a sexy leg slit on the front left side. The dress is in great shape and has almost all of its beads and sequins. There are some yellowed sequins that are around the neck and in a few other spots but only at a second glance and close up inspection. According to my referenced size chart, this dress is about a US size 10. This dress is totally wearable upon arrival. Please check the measurements as I would say I am about a contemporary size 10 but this dress does not fit me. The dress has been laundered and is odor-free.
