Chic day hat, probably 1950s / early 1960s. SIZE 21. 5 inches. Made of a round black hat straw base with a small brim. Top and crown covered with semisheer chiffon ruffles in bright colors.
Unfortunately this has some holes in it. Grosgrain ribbon around inside, otherwise unlined.
In wearable condition - holes in chiffon ribbon as described (see last photo). ***Photos taken with and without flash***
