This early fifties dress has the most amazing atomic print. Atomic prints were prints that looked like atoms or parts of atoms and were big starting in the early 50s during the cold war. This print is even more special as it's metallic with little bits of gold and silver shimmery threads throughout which pop on the platinum fabric. The bodice is fitted and has a drop waist with a pleated skirt at the bottom. It is so flattering and can be worn to work or out depending on style. I have not shown this with a crinoline in but one could be worn if you wanted to get a little more fluff and a more classic look as it has quite the sweep. The fabric is acetate the back zipper is made of metal.

Model is a 33.5 in bust and 26 in waist and is branded a size us 2/4 I found one area where if I stare at it it's a bit lighter most likely from the classic fume fading of acetate
