This is such a wonderful set, it is a costume from the 40s made of a super soft white rayon satin. It is a two piece set with sleeved top and brief bottoms. The top has the cutest little peter- pan collar, that fastens with a little shell button with a little key hole in the front. The top is crop length and has an elasticated waist. The sleeves on this set are bell sleeves in ¾ length and have a slight puff at the shoulders that give it that superb 40s look.

The bottoms also have an elasticated waist and are little briefs that are made of the same satin rayon.

Condition:

Overall the set is in great condition but it does have some repairs and minor defects in the fabric. On the top there are two little repairs, one on the top of the shoulder and one on the side seam, both on the right side. There are also a few little puls. The bottoms don't have any visible flaws but both the front and back center seam has some stress pulling that I repaired. Both the top and the bottom elastic have been replaced as the original elastic was bad. Overall this set is just darling! It has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
