This is such a chic dress, made of a soft slippery white rayon. The dress has a high collard neck that can be worn folded down or up and has a zipper down the back to the neck to get your head though. The dress has a very iconic 40s look with the bust having the side gathered and ruched down to the waist and the center front all smooth. This dress has a mini-peplum at the waist. The dress also has a side metal zipper on the left side. The skirt is simple, loose, and falls to the ankles. The dress is so 40s chic and I believe it was for a war bride due to the simplicity and the material being nothing too fancy. The dress does have a tag at the back of the neck and its marked 38, which refers to the bust size.

Condition:

The dress is in great condition with no flaws to note. There are shoulder pads in the shoulders but the original padding has deteriorated away so if you want they just need to be restuffed. The dress has been professionally laundered and is ready to wear.
