Vintage 1940's Style Ivory White Satin Slip Dress!

- fitted bust with darts
- nipped in waist with darts
- long flowing mermaid skirt, with a matching acetate ruffled tier along the bottom
- scooped neckline and back
- side metal zipper closure

This dress kind of looks like it was made from 1940's materials, or a 1940's slip dress, but it's a bit of a "Frankenstein." Someone added the acetate ruffle around the bottom of the skirt, perhaps in the 1970s. The neckline and underarms were also redone / new matching ivory trim. Could have been made to wear underneath something as a slip? Or could also be worn as a dress! Still a really cool look!

Good as found vintage condition. The straps need some stitches as there are a couple of tiny tears.
