This 1940s dress is so beautiful the pics simply do not do it justice! It is in its original state with only one tiny flaw which is a 1/4” thin spot on the back waist that can be repaired easily or covered with a belt. It is rayon or taffeta but flexible. And it has pockets!!!

It has absolutely beautiful seaming throughout and an artistic raised quilt stitching on the skirt of the dress, all done by hand. It is shown here with a light petticoat (not included). Button front.

This dress has light shoulder padding all inline with Diors 1940’s “New Look” dress styles.

This is a McKettricks label dress.

No size tag but it measures out to a modern size 8.
