This cozy fair isle sweater from the 1940s or 50s is hand (?? may be machine) knit with a warm, lightweight wool blend yarn and gold buttons. Ribbed waists and cuffs. Metal talon zipper front. This should fit around sizes 12 months to 2T. I just fell head over heels in love with this sweet little jumper and its cute fair isle novelty knit pattern. It's definitely a bit pilly, but a sweater shaver might help - I just didn't want to damage it. However, no holes or stains. The only damage is that the buttons at the neck are a bit scuffed up. It is soft for wool, so I am going to guess some kind of wool, nylon blend knit. Possibly acrylic blend. I have not done a burn test on this item to test for fabric content, so these are my best guesses.
