Vintage 40s Dress with Beading and Paillettes (sequins) in floral or star design
Swag drape down from hips. I am not certain of the material but common 40s rayon like material. Side metal zipper, hook at back neck (missed doing this on video)
34" max bust, 24" waist, 34" hips. 46" total length, 16" bodice length, 16" shoulders - Model is 5'1" XS 31/23/34 so this was a tiny bit loose.
This dress is in good condition for its age. Flaws: a few missing beads and sequins. Specks of discoloration on bodice. Water ring (faint circular water spot) on front waist. Similar larger ring on side front hem and smaller one at top of front vent. Marker tip size fray beside front hem vent. Marker tip size brown spot on back hem. Faint tiny spots on side lower drape. I have not had this dry cleaned, these spots may lift with cleaning. But I do not find these issues distracting enough to risk cleaning (risk of bead/sequin loss).
