40s/50s Black Satin Rayon Dress Rhinestone Buttons Xl
Wonderful late 1940s / early 50s day dress. SIZE XL, chest to 42 inches. Made of 2 types of black fabric - one feels like a crepe, while the other is more like a satin. These 2 fabrics are contrasted against each other in horizontal stripes on the bodice, and vertical pleats on the skirt. Unique ruched design on top of shoulders. Plastic buttons with rhinestone centers and fabric loops down the front of bodice, zips up side with a metal zipper. Black fabric belt, probably not original to the dress. Unlined. Fabric tag inside reads 'Fashioned by Form Fit Dresses New York.' Tag is ripped in half but still there. Otherwise dress in good pre-owned vintage condition. ***Photos taken with and without flash***
