Beautiful and very nicely crafted 1920s to 1930s beaded necklace. The necklace features large, carnelian red beads with remarkable marbling. These are capped by tiny, clear crystal roundels and alternated with large, faceted, rock crystal or crystal glass beads. Each section is hand knotted which creates a nice silhouette and sturdy construction. The necklace closes with an Art Deco filigree sterling clasp. The largest bead is about 3/4" long by 5/8" wide and the necklace is 15. 5" in length.

◊ condition: Great! There's a TINY chip on one of the facet edges on one of the faceted beads and a few miniature flea bites on the faceted beads but none of these are evident during wear and the presentation of this necklace is just magnificent!
