This is a beautiful cream silk damask nightgown from the 30s-40s. The nightgown is quite simple in silhouette and is bias-cut. The nightgown has a V-ed neckline and is covered in wonderful hand-sewn embroidery. The nightgown has a matching belt that can be used to cinch in the waist. The nightgown would have had a tag saying pure silk made in China. (I have another very similar nightgown as well for sale in a smaller size and the silk finish is different.) The nightgown is all hand sewn as well and is just so luxurious.

Condition:

The nightgown is in near mint condition with only the cutout missing tag. It has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.

The nightgown is pinned to fit the mannequin.
