Vintage 20s Black Velvet Skirt - This skirt comes from an awesome elderly woman from my church, she is in her very late 90s and this was her aunt's before her. She estimated 1920s but could be a bit later.
Metal zipper (may be a later addition). There is no hook/eye or button to close the waistline. I hesitate to add these as it could damage velvet. Maybe a safety pin could be used or clip? Lined.
No size tag. 25" maximum waist / free 46" hips/ Hem measures approx 33. 5" across at the bottom/ Length: 40". Model is 5'8" XS with 25" waist, this was fitted at waist, may be more comfortable on 24" waist.
Nice condition - velvet is sturdy and soft.
