Everyone needs a go-to long sleeve argyle sweater in their wardrobe! This beauty is made of 100% lambswool. It was made in Thailand for the Bullock's brand. The base coloring is a rich charcoal gray. And the front side has a classic argyle pattern in shades of heather gray, teal, fire engine red, mocha brown, peach, blue, and white. It really is the ultimate high-low pattern. It is a size medium and has a nice oversized fit that looks great when the sleeves are rolled up a few times into a small cuff. It could be styled as a slight rebellion beneath a twill or preppy suit, as a versatile layering piece, or any number of ways! The original tags are attached at the neckline and read: "Bullocks, 100% Lambswool, Made in Thailand ,Dry Clean Only, M"
A little history on argyle since it's awesome! The pattern was spawned from Fifth Earl of Argyll rebellion within Scotland. There is a recalcitrant instinct: anti-establishment with regard to the crown. Argyle knits & woolens rose to further popularity after World War I.
Condition: Great vintage condition with no rips, stains, or damages. If you examine closely there are 2 small pin hole size openings in the weaving of the wool on the front but it is so small we couldn't even capture it in a photo. Comes from a smoke free home.
