Here's a comfy, cool and casual coat from the king of tailored-casual, Geoffrey Beene...

Here's a classic light weight coat that is excellent for multi-seasoned weather. From renowned designer Geoffrey Beene, comes a simple piece, with sloping shoulder and wide, oversized cut indicative of the late 80's to early 90's. This coat comes in a medium weight cotton or cotton-polyester blend, with the very American gingham style check pattern in navy blue and white. The full length sleeves are slightly short, with a little puff just before the cuff and these, as well as the center front closure, feature oversized navy buttons. Look closely at the front to discover four well-placed (fabrics match-up) pockets; two welt flap slanted at either side of chest and two large, patch pockets with flap closures at hips. There is a lightweight acetate lining in navy blue, as well as two small, thin shoulder pads built in. The overall condition is near mint, with one small light yellow stain at center front, right lapel. The only label reads 'Geoffrey Beene, New York'.
