Here's a classic vintage staple that we should all probably have in our wardrobes -the navy blazer!

The options for wearing this jacket, and dressing it up or down are endless. This jacket, especially, has a tailored or preppy look, with its clean lines. Slightly feminized by its diminutive shape, this classic style jacket (inspired by sailor's peacoat) comes in a medium weight wool weave in dark navy blue color. It borrows some masculine details with three patch pockets; one at left breast and two at hips, plus a wide, notched collar. The only outstanding detail is the double breasted closure with four large gold coin-style buttons that are inscribed 'Republique Française'. These buttons are echoed again, in groups of four, at each cuff. The only labels present say 'size 8, Dry Clean Only and Union-made'. The overall condition is excellent, with three very small areas of moth-eaten surface: one at upper right back sleeve and the other two at upper right shoulder. Very mild discoloration to acetate lining. Please review photographs for full details.
