Shannon Rodgers For Jerry Silverman
60’s Mod Fit N' Flare Scooter Dress$95.00
This little gem is a 1960's labels triple-threat...
A lovely little 'Scooter' style dress in white and tan, with some sweet and feminine details. The fabric of this dress is a thick weave featuring a funky, pixelated geometric pattern. The scoop neck and hem are finished with a wide, bias-cut white trim, as well as the waist line, which is also accented by a double layer bow at left side. The princess seams give the bodice a nice fit, which opens up into a flared, knee-length skirt, with two hidden pockets at waist area. Lightly lined with a white synthetic fabric, dress has a (replaced) nylon zipper center back closure, with little snaps to finish the waist line closure. The overall condition is good, with a few flaws; one light yellow stain at back collar, some very mild yellowing to surface of white bias banding, light yellowing, with some repaired and smaller unprepared tears to lining, as well as light underarm staining -please see pics for full details. Now, for the triple threat: the fabric of this dress is Liberty fabric (Liberty of London? tag has faded, see pics), the design of dress is Shannon Rodgers for Jerry Silverman, and the manufacturer is I.L.G.W.U. (Union-made!)
