This 'pretty in pink' perfect prom dress is a 1950's fantasy dream-come-true...

If one could conjure up the perfect, pink 50's prom dress, it probably would look just like this. It has many of the major 1950's design details: sweetheart bust and super fluffy cupcake style skirt! The dress has a shiny pink acetate lining fabric, completely covered in a matching pink tulle. The sweetheart style bust is lightly lined with bust cups and boning down to the waist. The outer bust is embellished with ruched tulle, lined at the bottom bust shelf with a tulle ruffle. Bodice and upper skirt feature mesh embroidered with floral clusters and scrolls, again in the same pink hue. The mid-upper skirt has an interesting zig-zag tier of cascading tulle, topped again with a tulle ruffle. Please note: skirt is not maxi or fur length, but falls just below knees. Side metal zipper and hook + eye closure. No labels other than a size 7 (Union style) label. Overall condition is excellent with a small tear repaired at bottom skirt and a few light rust stains at front. Please see photographs for full details.
