Swoon! This is the epitome of Victorian Revival style. Your prairie goth vibes will be strong in this statement piece made in the USA in the 1970’s by designer Frere Jacques from a 85% cotton and 35% polyester blend fabrication. The blouse boasts dramatic full sleeves which are cinched at the wrist with fitted cuffs. And it has unique slits on both sides with black ties at the top of the slits that allow you to let the piece be worn as loose and relaxed silhouette or tied back for a tailored silhouette. It has gorgeous white bodice detailing to contrast against the main black fabric. And this design carries over to the back as well. The white bodice detailing is surrounded by large, but intricate eyelet trim. It buttons up the back with three black buttons. It has it’s original Frere Jacques label inside and what looks to be sizing marked as a “10”. However it’s silhouette allows it to fit almost any size. We tried it on our model whom is a size Medium and it fit perfectly.
