This piece is so rare and special— it's truly one of my favorite finds to date. The Kingdom of Naples has been pulling coral from the Mediterranean Sea to create jewelry and decorative art since ancient times, and coral is now synonymous with this beautiful region. For this reason, it's common to come across Neapolitan coral crosses from the 18th and 19th Century, but what makes this one so unusual is its organic, clustered shape, using pieces of genuine natural coral from the Mediterranean Sea. The most special part is the organically heart-shaped stone in the center. This is a fabulous addition to any collection, but also such a wonderful gift. The bail is large enough to pair this with any chain you have, but if you need a chain, I do have some available; note that the chain is not the exact one pictured but you can view it here. The cross itself (excluding bail) measures 1.25" long x 7/8" wide. The vintage scarab bracelet pictured is also available.
