It's length falls between that of an opera necklace and that of a rope length / lariat necklace It was hand made with multiple strands of faceted black beads in different shapes and sizes. At the end of the long multi-strand necklace hangs a beautiful and ornate focal point pendant for the Victorian jet mourning necklace. The backside of this pedant is lined with black velvet.
