Victorian Intricate Steel Cut Bead Buckles-turned-shoe Clips$95.00
Spiffy up those shoes, with these Victorian cut steel buckles-turned-shoe clips!
The steel cut adornment phase may have started in the 17th century, but it lasted well into the Victorian age. This example, originally from that time (circa 1880's-1890's) were then modified, with shoe clip add-ons, to further their fashionable functionality as an accessory. They feature an intricate pattern of silver colored 12-facet cut steel beads or brads in a floral design, and bordered with flourishes and scrolls. Both buckles are marked 'France' on the reverse, and the shoe clip add-on are marked 'Victory Pat'd 12-23-19 and 5-10-21'. Their overall condition is excellent, with no issues or really any signs of wear to note! Please see photographs for full details.
