Victorian Hogscraper Wedding Band Candlesticks Pair Rare

Hogscraper wedding band candlesticks in sheet iron are from the 1700s to 1800s, most likely from Europe. It has a height adjustment push up lever and a center brass ring (wedding band) which reflected the candlelight with a glow. It also has a hanger/hook, which was used for hanging on the back of a chair or settle. This type was more rare and the tall height is also not easy to find. It has a square nut attached to a screw inside in the base, that connects to the shaft. The iron shaft is black with a dark brown hue and unpolished. They were also relatively expensive when they were new, so few households had them.
This has no name on it, few did back in the day.

These candlesticks are pretty spectacular and to find a pair in such pristine condition is rare.
There is some old candle residue that will need to be cleaned out. I am leaving it to the buyer, if it is for a decorative use.

There are a lot of reproductions out there but I researched them and the components of the candlesticks matched up with ones that are from that period.
