Circa 19th Century, this locket dates back to the Victorian era. It is so romantic and makes the perfect gift. The locket opens with hinges, and can carry a memento inside. One side is monogrammed, the other side is not engraved, and you could wear it with either side facing up. Since the letters are so ornate, it's not immediately obvious what initials it depicts, which in my opinion makes it suitable for anyone to wear (even if they're not your initials). It is gold filled, which is the closest thing to solid gold, and has largely resisted wear over the years, thanks to its substantial layer of gold exterior. The jump ring makes it possible to wear on any gold chain you have. Please note that the chain is not included, but contact me if you are interested in purchasing a chain. Measures 1.25" drop with jump ring, and the heart is 1 1/16" long x 1" wide.
