Antique Black Cotton and Cotton Knit Slip Petticoat

I am estimating this to be from the civil war era- it was my aunt's ( died at age 89) grandmothers so it may even be older

4 snaps-most likely snaps go in front- my photos show it backwards

18 1/2" waist- appears to have had elastic but that is shot

25" hip

32" length

~40" flat hem

noted- see photo for small hole also at one point in history this must have been shortened up on knit area
