This is such a unique piece to collect, to use as a pillbox, trinket dish, or even display as art around the home. It was made in the 19th Century, most likely in France, and it makes such a great gift. It's made from a genuine shell, with gold-tone borders and a clasp to open and close. Mother Nature is the best designer, and this piece is a testament to that fact. Measures 2" wide x 1.25" tall.
