Made in the USA, with a Union logo label inside, this Victor Costa vintage Little Black Dress, has a touch of glamour with rhinestones accenting the sheer yoke. The slim shape is meant to fit and flatter. Fully lined below the yoke, it is knee length, with a high rounded neckline and long sleeves. From the 1970's, this was one of the Costa creations before the 1980's when huge puffy sleeves, full large bows and gathered skirts reigned in his garments.

For these photos the dress is clipped to fit in the back because it is too large for my model. That large clip is beige and is very visible in the video and in some photos.

In the back there is a zipper and a top hook and eye.

There are no shoulder pads in this dress. It is a feminine shape in a classic, stylish design that is bound to attract compliments when you wear it.

Inside the fabric tags read "Victor Costa, Dry Clean Only, Made in USA, COS Smith, 6731-4Size 14, RN 49563" and there is a red, white and blue ILGWU Union label, which helps narrow the time frame to the mid to latter 1970's.

Any fabric content tag is missing. The outer fabric seems to be polyester and the lining is a shiny acetate-like fabric.

It is in Very Good Vintage condition, with only a few missing rhinestones to report.

Freshly cleaned, there are no stains, holes, or odors and all seams are intact. The neckline and the underarms are clean and the zipper works well.
