With its original paper tags still attached, this bright white Vassarette nylon camisole is one you can wear either as a cami or a tank top under an open blouse. A-line in style, it has sections of the shaped fabric. Narrow strips of 1/4 inch lace trim each edge. Marked as a size Small, in a color they call "White Ice" and a style called "Tailored Classics Camisole" it is made with their typical quality design and fabric.

Never worn, it is in Pristine Vintage condition. There are no stains, odors, snags or tears and all the seams are intact. The only signs of age are in the paper tag, which shows some yellowing.

According to the Vintage Fashion Guild, "Vassarette was originally the Vassar-Swiss Underwear Company of Chicago. It had been formed by 1900 as a maker of “ribbed union suits for gentlemen” and women’s underwear. In 1951 the Vassarette label was formed by parent company Munsingwear, as a label for its women’s lingerie."
