In a lush black nylon Van Raalte calls "SUAVETTE" this fabulous mid century size 32A Van Raalte black slip is in Excellent Vintage Condition. It is an opaque nylon, with very pretty fully shaped floral lace at the bodice front and back plus the complete hemline. Scalloped black sheer lace, 6 inches wide, compliments the front and back hemline.

The size label shows Size 32A, however it is safest to compare your measurements to the ones listed below, because sizing has changed so much over the years.

The fabric content reads "Van Raalte, SUAVETTE All Nylon 32A, Made in U. S.A., 72333 112''.

With no care instructions on the label, we know this slip was made before those were required. From comparing it to other Van Raalte labels, it appears this Suavette nylon is most likely from the 1950's up to the early 1960's.

As can be seen, this classic Van Raalte black slip is in amazing condition, thanks to the fabulous Van Raalte nylon, plus the original owner who wore it lightly and stored it well.

There are no stains, odors, snags, worn areas or holes and all of the seams are intact.

The adjustable straps are fully functional.
