Up the Down Staircase by Bel Kaufman was first published in 1964 and spent 64 weeks on The New York Times Best Seller list. In 1967 it was released as a film starring Sandy Dennis. This is a 3rd printing from 1965.

In fair vintage condition overall with some foxing to the boards and interior end pages. Includes the original dust jacket, though it's not in great shape, actually in pieces but it is all there. Please see all photos.
